How I lost Three Stone in Six Weeks Without Exercising

Several years ago my normal 9 stone frame ballooned to an ugly 12 stone, I looked ugly, old, bloated, and I felt so ashamed.  The reason I gained weight was because I liked to drink, especially one of the most calorie-ridden drinks of all, namely strong export lager.

It wasn’t just the drink that made me fat, there were other reasons I gained weight so quickly but drink was definitely at the heart of the problem.

I came to realise that too much alcohol reduces a person’s inhibitions, you don’t worry so much when you’ve  had a drink or two, so you don’t worry about being fat and if you feel hungry during after a few drinks you simply eat, eat, eat.  At least that is what happened to me.

But I wasn’t just hungry after drinking, I was ravenously hungry, so a normal meal for me would be three slices of toast, lots of butter, and a big tin of beans on top.  One meal was enough for three people and I’d never dream of eating so much without a lager to chivvy me on.

When I decided enough was enough, the fat had to go, the first thing I did was to stop drinking heavy lager.

I also went on a high fibre diet which involves foods that tend to pass quickly and semi-digested through the body.  It means visiting the loo often but that was no problem because the weight began to melt away and I felt so much better, and looked better, too.

My diet was rich in white rice and mushrooms, the rice boiled until semi-cooked and the chopped mushrooms added about five minutes before the rice had completely softened.  I ate this meal twice a day and lost three stone in six weeks.  But wait, my diet wasn’t quite as boring as it sounds because I boiled the rice in many a tasty concoction, including slimmer soups, a few drops of soy source, in carrot juice and meat cubes.  So every meal tasted different and was always incredibly appetising.

Three stones just fell from my body in less than six weeks, all down essentially to giving up drink!
