Six Simple Ways to Lose Weight Fast

Losing weight usually means cutting calories, exercising more often, eating foods you may not like in preference to the fatty soggy stuff you’ve enjoyed over the years.  Isn’t that so?

Actually, no, it’s not true, losing weight means none of those things.  In fact you can lose weight without ever feeling hungry, without feel tired or exhausted from heavy exercising, without ever denying yourself the foods you love.

The most important word for dieters who don’t want to make extensive changes to their lifestyle is ‘moderation’.  ‘All things in moderation’ is a good maxim to lose weight by and in simple terms it means.

*  Each day, diet a little, exercise a little, so you’ll never feel dangerously hungry or excessively tired. ‘Dangerously hungry’ and ‘excessively tired’ are the precursors to giving up dieting, stopping exercising, staying fat and unhealthy for life.

*  A long walk after dinner will help your digestion and you’ll arrive home fit and fresh, unlike half an hour in the gym which might leave you physically exhausted and dying for a cool refreshing caloried packed drink!

*  Eat breakfast each day.  That way you’ll be less hungry at lunch time and more likely to choose a salad over soggy fish and chips in the staff canteen.

*  Drink plenty of water between meals.  Not only is water good for your health it also helps fill your stomach so you won’t overeat at mealtimes.

*  Eat lots of fibre rich foods, like wheat bran and pulses, fruit and vegetables, apricots and figs, baked beans and natural muesli.  Fibre passes through the body quickly and also make you feel fuller for longer.
